Hermes takes the souls of the now dead suitors to hades halls. They meet the ghosts of Ajax, Achilles, and Agamemnon. Achilles talks to Agamemnon about their burial. Agamemnon says how elegant his burial was. Agamemnon then talks to the suitor Amphimedon and he tells Agamemnon about how Odysseus and Telemachus killed all of the suitors. In response to this Agamemnon congratulates Odysseus on how trustworthy his wife was and how he is jealous. Odysseus sets off to see his father. He lies about who he is and tells his father that he is a king who has just came to Ithaca. The he sees his father break down about missing Odysseus and then Odysseus gives up his identity and tells his father that e is Odysseus. The news about the suitors deaths reaches the town and everyone decides that they will blame Odysseus and try to kill. Then Athene tells everyone to stop blaming Odysseus and to get along. The end.
